Pitches needed for 2026 (true story), and Hello Gorgeous!
Costco Connection is heating up for next year
Dear media friends and random internet strangers,
There I was minding my own business when my editor asked me for pitches for business stories for the Costco Connection. Yay!
For 2026.
Oh.
Costco Connection business pitches for 2026
If you have a client with a great business story that will be heating up at the end of this year, or a product that will be sold at Costco in 2026, I’d love to hear about it. Also, right now 2025 feels like kind of a junior dumpster fire year, so it will feel nice to look forward. Please send pitches to rcwprpitches@gmail.com with the topic of your pitch in the subject line. Please include Costco or Costco Connection in the subject line as well. Responding to this blast usually means that your email will get lost in the swamp that is my inbox.
And InStyle, too!
I’m also looking for really fun or innovative products to write about for InStyle. Tons of positive reviews, a cult following or unexpected celebrity endorsement helps too. Beauty, skincare, shoes or accessories are of interest. Please bear in mind that DotDash Meredith recently changed a lot of their policies (what else is new?), so this could turn into a lengthy process. Please send pitches to rcwprpitches@gmail.com with the topic of your pitch in the subject line. Please include InStyle in the subject line as well. Responding to this blast usually means that your email will get lost in the swamp that is my inbox.
Hello Gorgeous!
friends. My beauty/lifestyle newsletter Hello Gorgeous! is such a source of fun for me, and my readership and reach keeps growing (surreptitiously knocks wood). They also really trust me for my product recommendations and suggestions.
For upcoming posts and series, I’m looking for:
Experts. I’m going to be updating my list of experts, but in the meantime feel free to send me some pitches about dermatologists, female company founders, designers, celebs or authors 40+, cosmetic chemists or similar.
Spring cleaning. Anything from actual cleaning products to household cleaning solutions to makeup removers or wacky gadgets for your face or body.
Accessories. What are the handbag or earring must-haves for spring? Are cute umbrellas going to be making an appearance?
Comfy shoes or sneakers. This one is evergreen. I love hearing about it and my readers love knowing about it.
Home style. Anything from kitchen decor and gadgets to bedding. Tell me more!
Color. What are the colors of the next season and how will we be wearing them on our faces, nails, bodies?
Tech/books/entertainment/gadgets. Tell me what you’ve got!
Am I dating myself? New ongoing content. I’d love to hear about things we say or do or wear that can make us look or sound older than we are.
Partnerships/giveaways. When I launched last summer I was planning on growing slowly. Not that I’m complaining, but things are moving full steam ahead! As you’ll recall, late last year I partnered with Olay on content and giveaways and have been doing really fabulous giveaways from top brands. Hmu
if you’d like to discuss.
Breathwork/yoga/at-home fitness. This can be anything that keeps you moving when working from home.
And as always, new beauty/skincare/hair products/gadgets.

The Kumzits
We’re really trying to post more regularly on our Jewish-themed newsletter The Kumzits. Please pitch me any Jewish topics including experts on antisemitism, Jewish celebrities or interesting people to feature, books, snacks, items for Purim and Passover, anything that you think our savvy audience might enjoy knowing about. Please send pitches to rcwprpitches@gmail.com with the topic of your pitch in the subject line. Please include Kumzits in the subject line as well. Responding to this blast usually means that your email will get lost in the swamp that is my inbox.
And finally…
Incidentally, I’m working on a content calendar for this newsletter. I’ll be adding a new incentive which will include a free Zoom brainstorming session for paid subscribers. Stay tuned!
And that’s all for now.
Thanks, bunches!
Rachel
